The SMOOTHWALL™ Carbon frame and rear triangle deliver an exceptional stiffness-to-weight ratio. While maintaining durability for aggressive riding. Full sealed cartridge bearings, a threaded BSA bottom bracket and internal cable routing keep maintenance simple and noise to a minimum.
Rocky Mountain’s RIDE-4™ adjustable geometry system allows you to fine-tune the bike. Allowing rider to adjust head angle and bottom bracket height to suit your terrain. Lower and slacker for bike park days, or slightly steeper for tighter, more technical trails.
SMOOTHWALL™ Carbon has exceptional strength-to-weight. The inside of the frame is smooth. No wrinkles, bubbles or other defects.
This enhances the frame's stiffness and therefore the Altitude's handling.
Fox Factory Suspension – Coil-Controlled Confidence
Up front, the Fox 38 Float EVOL GRIP2 Factory (170mm) provides elite-level damping control and front-end precision. At the rear, the Fox DHX2 Factory coil shock delivers incredible small-bump sensitivity, consistent mid-stroke support, and confidence-inspiring traction when trails get rough and blown out.
This suspension package keeps the Altitude planted and predictable when speeds rise and terrain deteriorates.
Enduro-Proven Wheel & Tyre Setup
Race Face AR30 tubeless-ready rims are paired with a DT Swiss 370 Boost rear hub featuring the 18T Star Ratchet system for dependable engagement and durability.
Tyre choice is unapologetically aggressive:

- Rear: Maxxis Minion DHR II 2.4 WT 3C MaxxTerra DD
Both tyres are tubeless-ready and fitted with CushCore Trail inserts for added rim protection, improved sidewall support, and enhanced stability at lower pressures.

A 780mm Rocky Mountain AM handlebar, 40mm stem, and ODI Elite Pro lock-on grips create a stable, confident front end.
